Welcome to Hitched Caravans, a shipwright trade, vehicle body building experience and over a decade in the RV industry has given me the tools to be able to keep caravan owners on the road, I wanted to create a business where convenience, customer service and long term relationships were at the top of my list.
In 2019 Hitched Caravans was created on a part time basis. After seeing every angle of the industry including, workshop, warranty and manufacture, I’ve even become a customer after ordering our own brand new custom caravan, being on this side gave me a whole new perspective on how I wanted Hitched Caravans to be.
My partner and I grew to love the simplicity of van life, we started our own travels early 2023, heading over to WA for the year to see what the west could offer.
We have now settled in the Maitland region of NSW.
We know first hand owning a caravan and travelling Australia, service is lacking in the industry, our goal is to change this, our focus is building long-term relationships with our customers, with my extensive background in shipwright, fabrication and the RV industry
gives me the tools to be able to provide the best services for all caravan owners.
We are here to provide not only a service but to educate all caravan owners from maintenance, to weights, to purely just using your caravan.
After travelling on the road this gave us the opportunity to meet like minded people, hearing all the good and bad things of caravanning, we have taken this on board to make everyone’s experience a lot more enjoyable, the way it should be
